| KNTU Delegation Visits Mustansiriyah University, Baghdad, Iraq
A delegation from K. N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU) visited the Faculty of Engineering at Mustansiriyah University, Baghdad, to strengthen academic collaboration in the field of Water Engineering. The delegation included Dr. Mohammad Javad Ostad Mirza Tehrani, Director of the Water Matters Laboratory (WML) and Water Chair at KNTU’s Faculty of Civil Engineering, along with Dr. Hadi Aliakbarian, Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Office at KNTU. This visit was the result of ongoing communications and joint efforts between Prof. Dr. Saad Mulahasan of Mustansiriyah University and Dr. Ostad Mirza Tehrani, whose shared vision has paved the way for meaningful cooperation between the two institutions. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Malik Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Engineering at Mustansiriyah University, who highlighted the importance of strengthening scientific ties and developing joint initiatives in research, innovation, and education. Discussions focused on the Water Chair’s initiatives and explored opportunities for joint projects, student exchange programs, and capacity-building activities aimed at advancing sustainable water and environmental engineering across the region. The visit concluded with a tour of the Hydraulics Laboratory, underscoring the shared commitment of both universities to advancing experimental and applied research in water-related fields
